ORGANISATION:
Mark out an area 25x15 yrds or use the lines on the field (18yrd area) as a guide.  A group of players line up close to the edge of the 18yrd area (25yrds out) with a group of balls.  2 feeders stand by the posts with balls they can feed into the area.  It may be a good idea to have ball chasers behind the goals to redistribute if you dont have a large number of balls to use.  Rotate players in the stations every 5 minutes or as you desire.
INSTRUCTIONS:

(1) A1 starts with the ball and runs (dribbles) with it to close to the edge of the 18yrds box.  (2) A1 then shoots at goal with a driven/laces shot.  (3) A1 then check to F1 to receive a side foot pass played on the ground (4).  (5) A1 takes a placement, instep shot at a corner. (6) A1 then checks to the other side.  (7) F2 throws or kicks a ball up to A1 to head/volley (8).  A1 rotates to the back of the line and the next player now begins.

SCORING:
Every time a player scores they get a goal.  Players are trying to get hat-tricks as they get 3 quick attempts on goal.  At the end of the game see who got the most goals or hat-tricks.

KEY COACHING POINTS:
  1. Good driven shooting technique (Knee & Shoulder over ball, non-kicking foot, etc.)
  2. Correct technique for each attempt on goal.
  3. Hit the target (force a save from the goal keeper).
  4. Shots should be low and hard.

PROGRESSIONS:
  1. Different types of balls from the feeders (bounced, rolling, etc)
  2. Delivery from feeders can be off target to make the striker react and move their feet before finishing.
  3. 2 touch.
  4. 1 touch.

VARIATIONS:
  1. Add a cone that A1 has to dribble around and take on before shooting.
  2. Add a second striker who looks for rebounds only.

NOTES AND OBSERVATIONS:
Encourage players to go quickly between the stations (at game speed).  Don't be discouraged if you miss one, keep going! Watch for shots going over the bar from poor technique on the 2nd placement shots as players tend to use their laces sometime.
